7fb05e6a48 Audio engine changes:
-Idle tick is now responsible for dispatching all pending sound sources, as such improves priority sorting.
-Added ui sound precache mechanisms (to fetch sounds without associated soundsources)
-Audio engine no logner available pre-login or upon disconnect, for simplicity.
-General cleanup to the audio engine/impl.
-Fixed some gAudiop calls that were lacking prerequisite null checks.
-Added 'isUpstreamOK' procuedure to LLAssetStorage to allow avoidance of making requests when there is no upstream host connection.

977f17a893 Add feature to Continue flying upon standing, if the user was flying when they sat down.
A couple users said this could be handy.
Useful for birds, fairies, and otherwise flying critters.

85da7163a7 Changing the rolloff settings now immediately apply (with fmodex). Also added AudioLevelUnderwaterRolloff now that the underwater rolloff 3d setting doesnt immediately get clobbered. Also, divvied up sound channels into channelgroups if using the fmod profiler, so it actually has useful info to show now. 2012-07-20 04:00:02 -05:00

176c91097a Renamed DisableWindAudio to MuteWind and made it actually work
This will give Windows(only?) users experiencing the problem with wind sound corruption a way out.

0d87d3dc1c Brought in EXT-1399 (relates to wind sounds)
Modified EXT-1399 to allow falling from the sky wind. When one drops from great heights, they hear the wind rush past their ears.

3b0bfc40bc -LLCached[COA]Control can now be static const. Use for readonly access.
-const'd all readonly LLCached[COA]Controls to prevent altering by mistake.
-added get() accessor to LLCached[COA]Controls to return cached type explicitly without manual casts.
-added missing operators to LLCachedCOAControl
-Converted a few more settings to LLCached[COA]Control
-Fixed LLColor4U -> LLSD -> LLColor4 problems in LLCachedControl

Ascent functionality fixes:
-Tag coloring pulled out of getClientInfo(Redundant. idleUpdateNameTag already handled it)
--Tag and color substituted at render-time. Simple boolean logic. Neglible perf penalty.
-Fixed llinfos spam if AscentShowSelfTagColor = false
-Client tag updated less superfluously

fe9a3d2ba2 Converted frequently occuring setting lookups to LLCachedControl
Added LLObjectList::getAvatar(LLUUID) for type-safe and quicker lookup
Added F32 overload to LLSD because using F64 needlessly is silly.
   (And its lack of F32 overload caused issues with LLCachedControl<F32>)
